Can I choose to approve Instagram posts that I am tagged in?

Yes! Instagram allows you to choose whether posts you’re tagged in appear on your profile automatically or manually.

When you choose to add photos and videos manually, they will show up on your profile only if you approve them or not. Otherwise, when others tag you on an image or a video, it will automatically be added to your profile.

So, to manually select the photos and videos that show up on your profile:

  1. Open the Instagram app as usual.
  2. Once on your profile page, tap on the hamburger icon to access ‘Settings’.
