How to Make a TikTok Sound Your Alarm

If you are a frequent TikTok user, the chances of you becoming obsessed with TikTok sounds are pretty big. Once you become obsessed with those sounds, you won’t be able to stop wondering how you can use them outside the app and actually make one of those sounds your ringtone or alarm.

The good news is you can easily turn TikTok sounds into your ringtone or alarm on your phone and here we’ll show you exactly how to do it. With the help of some apps, you can make any TikTok sound into your ringtone.

So, let’s just get into the steps.

How to make a TikTok sound your ringtone or alarm (iOS or Android)

• First you must download the TikTok video.

Option 1: You can download the TikTok video to your smartphone. Once you find the video you want to download, tap on the Share option (left menu). Then, tap on Save video to download it.

Option 2: You can go to the TikTok video that you want to download and tap on the Share option and then tap on Copy Link to get the URL of the video.

• Second, you need to convert the TikTok video into an audio file on your smartphone.

Once the video is saved on your smartphone, you have to convert it and there are several conversion apps/sites that you can use for this.

Here is what you need to do:

1. Download either, MediaConver, or AudioConvert app and launch it.
2. If you choose to use the MediaConvert, tap on the plus sign (top left).
3. Then, choose Photos Library.
4. Choose the video you have saved from TikTok and just tap on Done.
5. In the MediaConvert library, find the video and tap the (i) next to it.
6. Next, go to More and then tap on Extract Audio.
7. Make sure that the format of the video is set to mp3.

• Third, make the TikTok sound your ringtone sound.

Now that you have a converted audio file of the TikTok video saved in your smartphone, you need the help of one more app to make it your ringtone or alarm.

Bonus: How to stop TikTok notifications from popping up.

The process to do this is the following:

1. Install the GarageBand app.
2. Tap on the + button.
3. Choose the Audio Recorder option.
4. When you get into the Tracks button, choose and tap the Loop icon to get the wanted sound effect of the sound.

5. From there, tap on the folder icon (bottom of the screen to Browse items from the Files app. Choose the converted TikTok sound in mp3 or AIFF format and you will see the audio file appear on the list.

6. Tap and hold on to the file and drag it to the timeline to make it a ringtone from the TikTok sound.

Now that you have made the ringtone file from a TikTok video, you might as well set it as your ringtone on your smartphone.

On iOS: Go to Settings > Sounds and Haptics > Ringtone. Choose the TikTok sound from the list (it will appear at the top of the list).

On Android: Go to Settings > Sound >Phone ringtone > Sound Picker app. Lastly, tap the custom ringtone you added to your ringtones folder and click on Save.
