When it comes to the Apple Watch, the serial number is printed on the back of the smartwatch; however, the numbers are so tiny, that you might be unable to see them without using a magnifying glass, or taking a photo and zooming in.

There are several different ways to find out your Apple Watch serial number: from your Apple Watch, from your iPhone, on the back of the Apple Watch, and inside the band slot (for some Apple Watches).

Note: The Apple Watch needs to be paired to the iPhone, otherwise you won’t be able to see the serial number using your phone.
Some Apple Watch series, including Apple Watch Series 1 and later, have the serial number inside the band slot on the back of the Apple Watch. To see it, you need to remove the band, and check inside the Watch case.
However, on the original Apple Watch, the serial number is printed on the back of the watch, on the left side.
