Serial number from Apple Watch Settings
- On your Apple Watch, open the ‘Settings’ app.
- Open ‘General’, scroll down to the bottom, and tap on ‘About’.
- Swipe down on the page until you see the serial number and IMEI number.
Apple Watch serial number from the iPhone
Note: The Apple Watch needs to be paired to the iPhone, otherwise you won’t be able to see the serial number using your phone.
- Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, and tap on ‘General’.
- Next, tap on ‘About’ at the bottom of the screen, and scroll down to find the serial number.
The serial number on the back of the Apple Watch
Some Apple Watch series, including Apple Watch Series 1 and later, have the serial number inside the band slot on the back of the Apple Watch. To see it, you need to remove the band, and check inside the Watch case.
However, on the original Apple Watch, the serial number is printed on the back of the watch, on the left side.
