The Apple Watch is among the best smartwatches currently available on the market. It has many amazing features - adding Instagram, family sharing, and for sports enthusiasts, the Apple Workout feature.
A lot of Apple Watch users prefer wearing their devices constantly and resort to using their smartwatch as a replacement for their phone alarm, and the sleep tracking feature surely is helpful.
However, you might want to turn off your Apple Watch alarm, especially if you have a day off, or simply wish to get back to your phone alarm.
Most of the features on the Apple Watch are simple to use and navigate through, however, when it comes to the alarm feature, you need to know several things before you start the process.
Before you get rid of the alarm on the Apple Watch, you need to know that whatever you set on your phone, will come through on the Apple Watch. Since you probably have linked both devices, turning a feature off on one device, means it gets turned off on the other.
What you can do about this is to put the Apple Watch on silent mode. An important note, however, the Apple Watch alarm will vibrate, since the haptic sounds are turned on.
To turn an alarm off, you need to press the side button. To snooze the alarm for nine minutes, click the digital crown.
The fastest way to turn an alarm off on an Apple Watch is to ask Siri to do it.
Bring the Apple Watch close to your mouth, but make sure the ‘Raise to speak’ feature is enabled. Once Siri is activated, give her instructions such as ‘Set alarm for 10 AM’.
Try the feature on the Apple Watch using Apple ‘Sleep Tracking’. The feature allows you to set sleep and wake-up times throughout the night.
According to your usual sleep-time, both devices - your iPhone and the Apple Watch go into ‘Bedtime Mode’, the screen will be dimmed, and notifications silenced.
