- In the top-left section of the screen, you’ll be able to select which audience will be able to see your new album - ‘Public,’ ‘Friends,’ ‘Friends except…,’ ‘Specific friends,’ ‘Only Me,’ or ‘Custom.’
- In the following field, you’ll need to name your album. You can also use emojis to make the name more aesthetic.
- You can edit the date or give Facebook permission to use the dates from when the photos were taken. Once you’re done, click on ‘Post.'
- Your new album will be shared on Facebook.
How to create Facebook albums using the mobile app
Naturally, the steps when using the Facebook mobile app have been changed too, and the feature isn’t as direct as it used to be. If you’re struggling, follow these steps:
- Open the Facebook app, and from the home page, tap on the three horizontal lines in the bottom-right corner.
- From the ‘Menu,’ tap on your name and last name to see your profile.
- Scroll down, and after you pass the ‘Friends’ and ‘What’s on your mind?’ sections, tap on ‘Photos.’
- In the ‘Your Photos’ section, tap on ‘Albums.’
- In the upper-left corner, tap on ‘Create Album,’ where you’ll be prompted to name the album and select an audience.
- In addition, you’ll be able to select which audience will be able to see your new album - ‘Public,’ ‘Friends,’ ‘Friends except…,’ ‘Specific friends,’ ‘Only Me,’ or ‘Custom.’
- Once the album has been created, you’ll be redirected to a new screen where you’ll be able to add your photos to the already-saved album.
