It has proven to be a fact that going viral on TikTok will get you a step closer towards new followers on the platform. People who gain popularity on TikTok get the verified badge much easier and after a while, they get paid for posting TikToks.

Therefore, adding your Tiktok link to your Instagram Bio might be exactly what you need so you can attract your followers from both social media platforms. Apart from your TikTok link, if you are a business, you can add your location to your Instagram bio.

A lot of Tiktok users don’t know where and how to find the link of their TikTok profile, so keep reading to find out how to copy the link and add it to your Instagram profile.

Here’s how you can find the URL of your TikTok profile.

  1. Open the app on your phone and click on your profile.
  2. Click on the three horizontal dots in the top right corner.
  3. Once you’ve opened ‘Settings’ you’ll need to scroll down and click on ‘Share Profile’.
  4. Copy the link you see and keep it.

Adding a link in your Instagram bio won’t work, because the platform doesn’t allow adding links in your bio. What you’ll need to do is add the link as your website, so your followers can be redirected instantly after clicking on it. Here’s a step by step guide on how to make the link functional.

  1. Open the Instagram app on your phone.
  2. Click on ‘Edit Profile’ below your following/followers list.
  3. It doesn’t matter if you have a business profile or a personal profile, once you’re redirected to the ‘Edit Profile’ page, you’ll see a blank space where you can add your website.
  4. In this blank field, paste the link you previously copied from Tiktok and click on the blue check mark in the upper right corner.

As well as Instagram, Facebook and all other social media platforms, TikTok allows you to link your other platforms to this one. Currently, you can link your Instagram profile and your YouTube channel to your Tiktok. Here’s how to do so:

  1. Open the TikTok app on your phone.
  2. Open your profile by clicking on your profile picture in the right-hand corner.
  3. Tap on ‘Edit Profile’ by clicking on the button below your following/followers list.
  4. You’ll be redirected to a new page, where you can change your photo, username, bio. Below these fields, you’ll see the Instagram/YouTube options, giving you instructions to ‘Add Instagram/YouTube to your profile’.
  5. After clicking on the ‘Add Instagram to your profile’, you’ll be redirected to log into your Instagram account.
  6. After finishing this step, your Instagram account will be linked to your TikTok profile.
