However, many have wondered how they can change their location on Instagram.

How to change your location on an Instagram business account
You can edit your Instagram location through the Instagram app following the steps below.
The steps are the same for both iPhone and Android devices.
- Log in to your Instagram account.
- Tap on ‘Edit’.
- Tap on ‘Contact options’.
- Tap on ‘Business address’.
- Tap on ‘Remove address’ to remove the address, go back to add your new location, and tap ‘Save’.
How to change your location for posts on Instagram
In case you want to edit a location to an existing Instagram post or video follow the steps below.
- Tap on the three dots in the top right corner.
- Tap ‘Edit’.
- Tap on ‘Change location’ and search for an address.
- Tap on the location and tap ‘Done’ in the upper right corner.
How to change a location on Instagram from computer
Unfortunately, there is not an option that allows editing or adding locations from your computer.
The only way Instagram users can change or add an address to their Instagram bio, posts, and videos is by using the app.
Can I create a new location on Instagram?

The answer is with a simple step called interlinking and here is how you can use it to create your own custom address.
- Sign in to your Facebook account.
- Tap on “What’s on your mind” to create a post.
- Tap on “Check-In.”
- In the search bar, type the name of the location you want to create.
- Tap on ‘Done’.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap on “Add Your location name.” We added an imaginary place like homes homes homeees.
- Fill in the fields for “Place name,” “Address,” and “City,” and then tap on “Save Custom Place.”
The next step is to use this location in Instagram:
- Open your Instagram app.
- Click on the three dots to the post you want to change the location on and tap on “Edit.”
- Tap on the location on your image.
- Type in the name of the new location you have created on Facebook.
- Tap on the address and tap done.
