  1. Open the Amazon website on your web browser, and log in to your Amazon account using your credentials.
  2. In the upper part of the screen, hover the mouse over the ‘Flag’ icon - next to the Search Bar.
  3. The language drop-down menu will show up, with a list of all available language options. However, some of the options are limited based on regions. If you’re located in the United States, your choices will be English and Spanish. Select your preferred language.

Note: If your language of choice is not showing up in the list of options, you can switch regions in order to be able to see the language you’re looking for. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. From the language drop-down menu, find the ‘Change country/region’ feature, and click on it.
  2. From the drop-down menu, named ‘Select your preferred country/region’, select a different country based on the language you’re looking to find.
  3. Click on ‘Go to Website’ to get redirected back to the choice of languages, this time there will be a variety of different languages.

How do I change the language on Amazon from the mobile app?

Note: The steps to changing the language on Amazon using a mobile device are the same on both iOS and Android devices.

  1. Launch the Amazon app on your phone.
  2. Click on the hamburger menu - the three lines, and click on ‘Settings’ on the following screen.
  3. On the next page, tap ‘Country & Language’.
  4. Select the language you prefer. However, choosing a language that is not available in the country/region you’re at right now, means you’ll need to switch to a different region as well in the Language Settings.
