Whether it’s a 15 minute or 4-hour drive to the place you need to reach, not playing music while driving is not an option for all of us! Spotify, one of the greatest music streaming platforms in the market currently, has a feature that changes the entire structure of the app once your phone connects to your car.

Spotify Car Mode or Car View Mode is a feature that Spotify offers to its users in order to make the app safe to be used while on the road.

How to turn on Car Mode in Spotify

In order to switch to Car Mode, you’ll need to connect your phone with your car through a Bluetooth connection. This feature is available for all Spotify users, meaning even those who do not use Spotify Premium will be able to use it. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to turn the feature on.

  1. Open the Spotify app on your phone.
  2. Click on the ‘Settings’ icon in the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Scroll down to the option named ‘Car’.
  4. Once you’ve opened it, toggle on the button in order to activate it.

After doing this, you successfully enabled Car Mode, and your app will look a bit different, for example, you’ll have larger buttons, which will make using the app while driving a lot easier, and a lot of similar features.

In case you don’t like Car Mode, since it automatically switches once your phone connects to your car via Bluetooth, it can be easily switched off.
