Sending files in messenger is easily done when using the Desktop version. You can send a single file or you can send multiple files on Facebook Messenger.
However, doing this from your mobile device cannot be done when logging in from the browser, since the messenger app is not responsive in the mobile browser version.
Sharing documents using the Desktop Messenger version is truly simple, in contrast to the mobile version. Currently, there is no paper clip icon integrated into the mobile versions of the app, for iOS or Android. However, some Android phones have a way around this.
To send files in Messenger from an Android, you’ll need to navigate to a different app instead of Messenger.
Unfortunately, iOS users still do not have a way on how to share files using Messenger, and even some Androids cannot share files with the steps we mentioned in the previous section. If you’re an iOS user, or if your Android does not allow you to share files, the next best solution would be for you to transfer your files on your PC or laptop, and send them using Messenger’s desktop version.
